On the second day of the ongoing third Test match, India managed to keep South Africa to 210 runs.

Resuming from 17/1, Proteas lost Keshav Maharaj for 25 runs and Rassie van der Dussen made 21 runs. However, there was a short partnership between him and Keegan Petersen of 67 runs. Then Petersen, who was highly impressive, added 47 runs for the 5th wicket with Temba Bavuma.

Finally, Petersen fell to Bumrah for a well-made 72 with 9 fours and Bavuma was dismissed for 28 runs by Mohammad Shami. The tail folded soon as South Africa was bundled for 210 runs giving India a slender lead of 13 runs.

Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav both picked two wickets each, while Shardul Thakur took one wicket. But the star of the show was Jasprit Bumrah as he picked his second five-wicket haul against the South African team in their own backyard, finishing with 5/42.

The cricket fraternity was all praises for the brilliance of the Indian fast bowler and lauded Bumrah on Twitter.
