India captain Virat Kohli was not pleased with on-field umpire Marais Erasmus for issuing a warning to pacer Mohammad Shami. Erasmus warned Shami for landing in the danger zone in the morning session of Day 2 during third Test against South Africa.

Shami was very close to the danger area during his follow-through a few times in the over. But after one of the deliveries, Erasmus felt the speedster entered the danger area and he warned him for his landing.

However, the replay showed that Shami had landed outside the danger zone after bowling the delivery and Kohli was upset with the warning. He went on to have a conversation with the umpire regarding the same.

But later an extended replay of all of Shami's deliveries showed that the fast bowler had indeed landed in the danger zone on three occasions before getting a warning and Erasmus was spot on with his decision.

The visitors were bowled out for 223 runs in the first innings and Kohli was the top scorer with 79 runs off 201 deliveries.
