India’s limited overs skipper Rohit Sharma lauded Mohammad Shami after the pacer completed his 200 Test wickets in the ongoing first game against South Africa in Centurion.
Resuming Day 3 with the score of 272/3, Team India suffered a batting collapse and were bowled out for 327 runs. The visitors lost 7 wickets in quick succession as Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada took 9 wickets among themselves to shift the momentum towards their side.
After bowling out India for 327 runs, many expected South Africa to continue the momentum but this wasn’t the case as Mohammad Shami led the way for the Virat Kohli-led side with a five-wicket haul that helped visitors to bundle out hosts for just 197 runs and take a lead of 130 runs.

Mohammad Shami took his sixth five-fer and also became the fifth Indian fast bowler to take 200 Test wickets. His heroics were lauded by many fans and pundits across the globe. India’s white-ball skipper Rohit Sharma joined the celebration too as he took to his official Twitter account to praise Mohammad Shami for his effort.
"Double hundred is a special number #200," Rohit Sharma Tweeted.
Coming to the match, the visitors have put themselves in a comfortable position as after bundling out South Africa for 197 runs they ended Day 3 at 16/1 and were leading South Africa by 146 runs.
