India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja slammed unbeaten 45 runs in 18 balls to help India beat Sri Lanka in the second T20I by seven wickets on Saturday (February 26). They also sealed the three-match T20I series with the win, with one more match to go on Sunday in Dharamsala.
After the match, Jadeja thanked skipper Rohit Sharma for showing faith and promoting him up the order. His video of the post-match press conference came to notice due to the excessive eye blinking.
Even former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan dropped a comment on Twitter regarding the same and wrote that Jadeja might need an eye-drop. To which, the Saurashtra cricketer replied in Gujarati that it happened due to the contact lenses which he is using for the first time.
Pathan continued the conversation in Gujarati and praised his batting in the second T20I. He wrote that watching Jadeja bat felt like he was wearing binoculars.
Here is the conversation:
India chased down Sri Lanka's 183/5 in just 17.1 overs to win the match. Apart from Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, who won the Player of the Match, batted impressively with an unbeaten 74-run knock.
India have now won 11 T20I matches on the trot. Earlier in the series, the hosts won the first match in Lucknow by 62 runs.
