Rohit Sharma and Dinesh Karthik’s friendship has yet again grabbed the attention following Team India’s 49-run loss in the third and final T20I against South Africa on Tuesday (October 4) in Indore.
The Indian captain was seen sharing a light moment with the star wicketkeeper-batter, as the duo was each other’s pulling legs, and now the short clip has been making rounds on the internet.
The BCCI shared a clip on its Twitter handle on Tuesday in which Karthik was seen laughing around with Sharma, who seems to have been mocking him with his wicket-keeping.
The BCCI captioned the post by saying, "A dash of laughter does not hurt after the series win!"
Coming back to the match, South Africa posted 227/3 on the board against India in the third T20I on the back of Rilee Rossouw’s unbeaten century and Quinton De Kock’s 68 in Indore.
Chasing the target, the Men in Blue had the worst start losing Rohit for a duck and Shreyas Iyer for 1, and they eventually fell 49 runs short of the target, as the tourists avoided the whitewash in the T20I series.
Karthik was the highest run-getter for India in the match with 46 runs against South Africa, while Deepak Chahar made 31.
