Ranji Trophy Legend, Wasim Jaffer hilariously trolled England after India defeated New Zealand in the recent Test series at home. After the first Test between India and New Zealand ended in a draw, the hosts crushed the visitors in the second Test in Mumbai to win the series 1-0.
The Virat Kohli-led side thumped New Zealand by a record margin of 372 runs in the second Test, their biggest win in terms of runs, to clinch their 14th consecutive Test series win at home.
India’s unbeaten run of 14 Test series win at home is the most by any team in Test cricket history.
Batting first, after winning the toss, the hosts posted a first-innings total of 325 runs on the board and then came out all guns blazing to bundle out the Black Claps for just 62 runs, leading by 263 runs.
Virat Kohli then declared India's second innings on 276 runs to set New Zealand a target of 540 runs. In reply, the Tom Latham-led side struggled to counter the Indian spinners, who took 9 wickets among them to bowl out the opposition for 167 runs.

After India defeated New Zealand at home, Wasim Jaffer talked about New Zealand's failure against a depleted Indian side and how the Black Caps need to win overseas to be feared because "everyone wins at home" in a tweet.
He then slyly added "except England" in parenthesis at the end to suggest Joe Root and co.'s recent failures in Tests at home.
"NZ played well but they'll rue not playing Wagner at Kanpur. India were 51-5 with 6 first choice players missing yet managed to break away and almost win. NZ have to consistently win away from home for teams to fear them. Cos everyone wins at home (except England)," Wasim Jaffer Tweeted.
Notably, England lost the home Test series 0-1 against New Zealand this year and are trailing India 1-2 in five-match Test series, which was halted midway due to COVID-19.
