India and Australia are clashing in the third ODI of the series at the SCA stadium in Rajkot on September 27, 2023. Australia won the toss and chose to bat first.
Australia started well with David Warner (56) and Mitchell Marsh (96) adding 78 runs for the first wicket. Marsh then added 137 runs with Steve Smith (74) before falling to Kuldeep Yadav. Once these two got out, Indian bowlers piled on the pressure and tightened the screws on the scoring rate.
Marnus Labuschagne played a fine knock of 72, but Australia could only manage 352/7. For India, Jasprit Bumrah took 3/81 and Kuldeep took 2/48.
During the 47th over of the match, a funny incident happened featuring Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja. Marnus Labuschagne dabbed a short delivery towards point and set off for a run.

Jadeja prowled at the position picked and ball. Seeing this Bumrah who was standing in between Jadeja and the stumps, pleaded with the fielder not to throw the ball.
However, Jadeja sensing an opportunity to run Labuschagne out, threw the ball, but the throw went over the head of Bumrah, who ducked to save himself.
