India and Australia are facing off in the third and final ODI being played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association stadium in Rajkot on September 27, 2023. India has already won the first two ODIs and leads the series 2-0.
Australia won the toss and captain Pat Cummins chose to bat first. Mitchell Starc, Glenn Maxwell, and Tanveer Sangha were included in the Australian XI. For India, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, and Kuldeep Yadav returned in the XI as well. Washington Sundar was given a chance in place of R Ashwin.
David Warner made 56 as he added 78 runs in 8.1 overs with Mitchell Marsh for the first wicket. Marsh, on the other hand, hammered 96 in 84 balls with 13 fours and 3 sixes. Marsh added 137 runs with Steve Smith for the second wicket.
Just after Marsh got out four short of his century, Australian reserve players came out in the middle with drinks and a chair for Steve Smith to sit on as he seemed exhausted in the heat of Rajkot. One player was seen holding an ice pack on Smith’s head as he rested a bit on the chair.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli approached Marnus Labuschagne for a chat and during this, also showed off some of his dance moves, leaving Marnus smiling.
