India skipper Rohit Sharma joined his former teammates Amit Mishra and Abhishek Nayar for a fun chat on the eve of the third ODI against Australia in Rajkot.
During the practice session, Rohit made a funny interruption when he saw Mishra and Nayar, part of the broadcasting team, shooting a live program for the pre-match on Jio Cinema.
The Indian captain pulled Mishra’s legs and asked him, “Why are you eyes so red?”
To which, Mishra replied: “I have slept only three hours.”
Rohit was in a jovial mood and asked, “What commitment, I am impressed. You didn’t have that much commitment when you were out in the field.”
“You didn’t play for me,” he added.
Mishra was also in a jolly mood as he responded by saying, “You didn’t pick me, what can I do.”
On a serious note, Amit Mishra asked Rohit Sharma about his health and fitness.
“Feeling toh acha hai. Jab aap log ground pe ho toh feeling toh badhiya hi hai (Im feeling good. In fact I am bound to feel good when you guys are on the field),” the Indian captain said.
“Body wody sab badhiya hai (My body is feeling good),” he further added.
“Milte hai practice ke baad (We will meet after practice),” he said while bidding goodbye.
Having won the first two ODIs, Team India have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. Rohit Sharma was rested for the first two ODIs and KL Rahul led the side in his absence.
