Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been very expressive on the field in recent times. Well, Rohit’s another funny and very strange reaction to Steve Smith is now making the rounds on social media.

He gave a savage send-off to Smith after taking a successful review against him in the first T20I that was won by Australia by four wickets against India at the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

It all happened during the 12th over of the second innings when Australia was chasing 209 runs for victory against India. Before Umesh Yadav delivered the third ball of the 12th over, Smith was seen shuffling across the crease and looking to attempt a paddle scoop.

The Indian pacer understood the Australian batter’s move and changed his line and length, forcing Smith to attempt a shot towards third man, but he could not play the way he wanted. The ball took a meaty edge and wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik caught it. As the Indians appealed for a wicket, Smith denied to walk and the on-field umpire gave the decision in favour of the Australian batter.

It forced Rohit to take DRS and the replays confirmed an outside edge that Karthik latched onto, and the third-umpire overturned the on-field umpire’s call. Smith was seen denying the dismissal after it was confirmed on the giant screen before he started to walk back to the pavilion.

When Smith was walking back to the dressing room, cameras rolled on Rohit Sharma, and the Indian skipper was seen in surprise and coming up with a wry smile on his face, as he reacted hilariously after the Aussie’s denial to walk despite the fact that he had clearly nicked the ball.
