India’s right-arm speedster, Jasprit Bumrah was named in the Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. He had missed the Asia Cup 2022 due to a back injury and India missed his services greatly as they failed to make it into the finals.
Undoubtedly, Bumrah had been a consistent performer for the Indian team in all three formats and also captained the national team against England in the recently rescheduled fifth test at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The pacer was recently named in the Indian squad for the three-match T20I series against Australia starting on 20th September 2022. He will also play against South Africa in the three-match T20I series which begins on 28th Sept.
A fit Bumrah will be a boon for the Indian team in the upcoming six T20I matches at home and then in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, a place where he has achieved much success.
On Wednesday, he posted a video where he can be seen training his heart out. Bumrah captioned the video and wrote, “Work and you’ll get what you need; work hard and you’ll get what you want.”
