The T20 format of cricket was invented by England & Wales Cricket Board in 2003 and since the advent of the first ever ICC World T20 World Cup in 2007, which was won by a very young on experience Indian team led by a long haired MS Dhoni, the format has become one of the favorites all over the world, so much that it given hopes to officials of taking cricket into the Olympics.

The Indian Premier League, when started in 2008, laid the platform for cricketers whose game was way ahead of the realms of ODI and Test cricket. The T20 franchise cricket gave them a platform to showcase their abilities to the max and many players have become the legends of the 20-over format and Team COC salutes such players in the All-Time Greatest T20 XI.
