TOM MOODY
Tom Moody is a two-time World Cup (1987 and 1999) winning member of the Australia team and played 8 Tests and 76 ODIs for Australia. He retired in 2001 and entered into coaching. He became the coach of the Sri Lanka national cricket team in 2005 and his biggest achievement was taking the Sri Lankan team into the finals of the 2007 World Cup.
He became the coach of Western Australia team in 2007 and coached Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2008. Since 2012, he has been the coach of the IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad and the team has reached the qualifier rounds three times and won the title in 2016.
Moody is a well-learned coach with extensive experience of coaching Indian players in the IPL and knows the Indian conditions very well. His experience in Australia and England might also come in handy when team India tours there and he know how to handle the star Indian players.
