KL Rahul took a sensational one-handed catch behind the stumps to dismiss Will Jacks for 20 runs in the first ODI between India and England at Edgbaston on Tuesday (July 14).
Jacks was enticed into playing a delivery from Shivam Dube that straightened outside off, but he could only manage an outside edge. Rahul moved swiftly to his right and leaped through the air to pluck the ball cleanly out of the air.
The spectacular catch broke a growing partnership between Jacks and Joe Root, leaving England reeling at 107/6 after 21.4 overs.

Earlier, England won the toss and opted the bat first. Following a 61-run stand by the English openers, India's pace attack entirely dismantled the top and middle order to wrest back control of the match.
Gurnoor Brar broke the opening partnership by dismissing Jacob Bethell (14) and the dangerous Ben Duckett (43) within three deliveries in the 13th over. Jasprit Bumrah removed England captain Harry Brook for just 1 run in the next over.
Prasidh Krishna further decimated the hosts by dismissing Jos Buttler (5) and Sam Curran (0) in the 17th over.
