India thumped England by 5 wickets in the third ODI to complete a 2-1 series win. It was a collective effort from the visitors as they held their nerves better in the crucial stages and completed a fantastic win.

Bowling first after winning the toss, Mohammed Siraj took India off the flyer as he removed Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root in the second over of the game to jolt England and leave them tumbling at 12/2.

After that Hardik Pandya bowled his best spell in the ODIs and troubled English batters with his short deliveries to return with the figures of 4/24. Yuzvendra Chahal also chipped in and took 3 wickets whereas Ravindra Jadeja took 1 wicket as India bundled out England for just 259 runs.

While chasing the target, they found themselves in deep trouble and were reduced to 72/4 with Rohit Sharma (17), Shikhar Dhawan (1), Virat Kohli (17), and Suryakumar Yadav (16) back in the hut.

After that, it was the Rishabh Pant-Hardik Pandya show as they stitched 133 runs for the fifth wicket and bailed India out of trouble. While the all-rounder scored 71 runs, the keeper-batter smashed an unbeaten 125 runs to guide his side home and win the series.

As India won their third ODI series in England, they followed it with a wild celebration during the trophy collection. After Rohit got the trophy in his hand, Dhawan sprayed champagne all over him and Shardul Thakur did the same from the side.

The Indian skipper then  tried to bring them all together to pose for a photo mouthing, "Photo toh lelo yar (Guys, at least pose for the photo)."

Just when he said that Rishabh Pant sprayed the champagne again to add to the frustration of Rohit, who didn't look happy and then called all of them again for a click.

As all the players posed for a photo, Virat Kohli joined the party from behind as he sprayed the champagne over Arshdeep Singh (who was holding the trophy) and Dhawan to celebrate further.
