Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer reacted hilariously after Michael Vaughan on Tuesday (12th July) invited him over for tea.

Vaughan’s invitation came after England suffered a batting debacle and were bundled out for just 110 in the first ODI against India at The Oval. Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc across the hosts' batting line-up.

The pacer registered his career-best figures of 6/19 and help his side bowl out the opposition inside 26 overs. Mohammad Shami also chipped in and took 3 wickets whereas Prasidh Krishna scalped 1 wicket as well.

Taking to his Twitter account Vaughan asked Jaffer for tea as he would be free in the evening, after England's batting debacle.

“Fancy coming round for Tea @WasimJaffer14 !! Think I have an evening free .... #ENGvIND,” Michael Vaughan tweeted.

Jaffer was quick to reply to Vaughan’s offer. The former Indian cricketer hilariously took a jibe at his Twitter rival for England’s batting failure. Accepting his invitation, the Ranji Trophy Legend said that let him get his ducks in a row.

“Haha sure Michael, just let me get my ducks in a row first,” Wasim Jaffer tweeted.

Coming to the match, after India bundled out England for just 110 runs, skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front and scored unbeaten 76 runs to take his side home. He stitched unbeaten 114 runs partnership with Dhawan, who scored 31* and helped India to win the match by 10 wickets and take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
