England and Wales Cricket Board’s (ECB) Men's selection panel have named squads for the upcoming three-match T20I and ODI series versus India starting on 7 July at the Ageas Bowl. The England team will be captained by Jos Buttler after the retirement of Eoin Morgan last month.
None of the players from the XI which is playing against India in the rearranged fifth Test at Edgbaston is involved in the T20I series, which starts two days after the scheduled fifth day, but Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root, and Ben Stokes will play in the ODI series.
Richard Gleeson, the 34-year-old Lancashire seamer, earned his maiden call-up for England as he was added to the T20I squad. Adil Rashid misses out due to him going on Hajj, while Matt Parkinson might get to play his first limited-overs match in 12 months.

Harry Brook, named in both squads, is the main beneficiary of Eoin Morgan's retirement and looks set for an opportunity in the middle order. Two members who recently played against the Netherlands- Luke Wood and David Payne both miss out.
A number of seamers remain unavailable due to various injury problems, including Chris Woakes, Mark Wood, Jofra Archer, Olly Stone, Tom Curran, and Saqib Mahmood. As a result, there is an opportunity for Craig Overton in the ODI squad, while Brydon Carse has been retained in the enforcer role.
