The Indian team will begin their England tour with a four-day warmup game against Leicestershire at the Grace Road ground. This will be a precursor for the rescheduled fifth Test match between the two sides which will be played in Edgbaston from July 1 to 5.
Keeping that in mind, the India team shifted their training base from London to Leicester. The Test specialists had a couple of training sessions at the Lord’s ground after arriving in the UK after leaving Mumbai on June 16.
The contingent consisted of Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Shardul Thakur amongst others.
India's Test team will be training in Leicester for a period of one week, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said. India, led by Rohit Sharma, will be playing a 4-day warm-up match against county club Leicestershire from June 24 to 27.

The latest batch to leave for England consisted of Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer, who flew from Bengaluru. Both of them were part of the 5-match T20I series against South Africa.
The BCCI shared photos of the Indian team practicing in Leicester and net bowler Kamlesh Nagarkoti can be seen training with the likes of Shardul Thakur and Jasprit Bumrah.
India leads the 5-Test series 2-1 and both England and visitors will have new captains as Rohit Sharma had replaced Virat Kohli while Ben Stokes replaced Joe Root from last year's series.
