India's off-spinner R Ashwin was trending on social media during Day 4's play of the fourth Test against England. A picture in which Ashwin can be seen sitting alone in stands went viral on Twitter.
The cricket fans on Twitter were not happy to see Ashwin being left out of all the four Test matches in the series so far. Now the latest picture has once again made them speak for the senior off-spinner.
India captain Virat Kohli had revealed they didn't pick Ashwin for the fourth Test after England opted with four left-handers and the team felt Ravindra Jadeja would be a batter match-up for the combination.
"England has four left-handers, so a good match-up for Jadeja, with our seamers bowling over the wicket. Also factors in his balance at No.7," Kohli had said during the toss.
The Twitterati reacted to the picture of Ashwin and felt sad for the 34-year-old.
