India cricket team captain Virat Kohli nearly lost his cool in the press conference after Team India's defeat in the third Test by an innings and 76 runs on Saturday (August 28).

Kohli handled the situation very well after being interrupted by a journalist who refused to take his answer and kept on elaborating the question.

The India skipper was asked if the Indian batsmen would have discussions about backfoot play. To which he replied, "I honestly don't know what to say to that question.

"I mean how do you play a ball on the backfoot which is not back of length?" he had a question thrown back at the journalist.

When the journalist tried to elaborate whether due to the lack of backfoot play, India are missing out on runs, Kohli, seemingly not impressed, replied, "Okay, thanks!".

The 32-year-old is going through a lean patch and his wait for 71st international hundred is getting stretched with each match.

Kohli scored his first half-century of the ongoing series in the second innings of the third Test before getting out to Ollie Robinson on 55 runs.
