India wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has on Thursday (August 19) received the second dose of the vaccination against COVID-19 in London, United Kingdom.

Saha is currently in England with the Indian cricket team for the ongoing five-match Test series. Notably, he contracted the deadly Coronavirus during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

On Thursday, the Bengal cricketer has finally completed both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and he also shared a picture of him taking the vaccine in London on Twitter.

Sharing the picture, Saha captioned the post by saying: “Done with the second dose.”

Noteworthy, the wicketkeeper-batsman was once again forced to isolate after being found out as close contact to the Indian support staff Dayananda Garani, who tested positive for COVID-19 last month in England.

Well, Saha didn’t get to play in the first two Tests of the ongoing five-match Test series against England with the first ending in a draw while India won the second in Lord’s earlier this week.

India and England are now preparing for the face-off in the third Test starting from August 25 in Leeds.
