India's fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was at his best against England in the first Test at Nottingham. He bagged nine wickets in the Test match and also got his name inscribed on Trent Bridge honors board with a five-wicket haul.
Bumrah was heavily criticized for going wicket-less in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand. He went 0/57 and 0/35 in the two innings of the match which was played at Rose Bowl cricket stadium, Southampton.
There were a lot of Indian cricket fans on social media who pointed fingers at Bumrah for the performance. Now, he has reminded them of his worth with another solid performance in the first Test.
Bumrah posted a cryptic tweet for his doubters after the first Test match. He added his pictures and wrote, "Still don't need you."
Unfortunately, the match ended with a draw after rain played a spoilsport on the final day. The Day 5 of the match was washed out due to rain. India needed only 157 runs to win with 9 wickets in hand on the last day.
