The first Test match between India and England ended in a draw on Sunday (August 8) after rain washed out the fifth day. India needed 157 runs to win with 9 wickets in hand on the last day at Trent Bridge, but the rain didn't allow a single over of play.

Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer was not pleased with the outcome due to rain and he posted a meme on Twitter. Jaffer said the forecast was better for the day but it turned out to be completely opposite.

"Forecast was actually much better for today. In fact, it was supposed to rain yesterday but we got full days play. English weather: #ENGvsIND," he wrote.

Indian fans also reacted to the poor weather in England which didn't allow an exciting day of cricket with both teams looking for a win. The visitors were 52-1 while chasing 209 runs and they had only lost KL Rahul before the stumps on Day 4.

Rohit Sharma and Cheteshwar Pujara were batting in the middle and they had plenty of batting left to chase down 157 runs on the last day. Even England had a chance with the conditions helping their fast bowlers and the spectators were up for a thrilling finish which wasn't possible due to rain.
