ENG v IND 2021: WATCH- James Anderson shocks Virat Kohli; gets him out for a golden duck

Anderson picked both Pujara and Kohli in two balls.

Virat Kohli edges one behind the first ball off Anderson | TwitterThe England and India five-match Test series began on August 4 onwards with the 1st Test being played in Nottingham. This series has been a highly anticipated one especially the battle between England pace ace James Anderson and India captain Virat Kohli.

Anderson had said that he was looking forward to bowling to Virat, while Kohli also mentioned that he always like playing against Anderson. If in 2014, Anderson dominated Kohli, getting his wicket four times in the series, in 2018, the India captain kept the England pacer at bay, pummeling 593 runs across five Tests.

Therefore, when Virat Kohli walked out to bat at the fall of Cheteshwar Pujara’s wicket, who was caught behind by Jos Buttler off Anderson, the Trent Bridge crowd erupted in welcoming one of the best batsmen in the middle.
