Former England captain Michael Vaughan is looking forward to the Test series between India and England. The five-match Test series, which will kick off the second edition of the ICC World Test Championship, will start on August 4 at Trent Bridge.

Vaughan posted a morphed picture hinting that the pitch is going to be a nightmare for the batsmen with a lot of grass on it. The picture funnily had a tree and big grasses on the pitch, as Indians have a look at it.

"Can’t wait for the Test series to start on Weds .. Should be a great series !! #ENGvIND," he tweeted on Monday (August 2).

When England had toured India earlier this year, they had played on turning tracks. Vaughan was not happy with the pitch and he felt the pitch wasn't offering a balance between bat and ball.

India had defeated England by 3-1 in the four-match series at home. The Joe Root-led side would look to avenge the loss. India have not won a Test series in England since 2007.

In their last two series at England; in 2011 and 2018, India lost 4-0 and 4-1 defeats respectively.
