Indian cricketers are currently enjoying a 20-day respite from the bio-bubble life after the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, which they lost by 8 wickets.

When the break ends, the entire squad will assemble in London on July 14, before travelling to Nottingham to start their preparations for the England Test series, starting August 4.
Meanwhile, the visiting players are set to receive their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine on July 7 and 9.
"The second dosage has been planned for the cricketers and they will be vaccinated on Wednesday and Friday," ANI quoted a source as saying.
It is pertinent to note here that Virat Kohli and company will also play a warm-up game against ‘Select County XI’ from July 20 to 22. ECB decided to arrange the practice match after BCCI’s request last week.
Following the WTC final last month, Kohli had said that the Indian team was keen to play first-class games before the scheduled five-Test series against England but their request was turned down for reasons not known to him.
"That doesn't depend on us. We obviously wanted first-class games which I believe has not been given to us. I don't know what the reasons for that are," the Indian captain had said in a post-match virtual media conference.
As far as the injury in the Indian camp, young opener Shubman Gill is likely to be flown back home with two shin splints and would sit out for around eight weeks. On the other hand, veteran pacer Ishant Sharma, who had sustained an injury to his bowling hand during the WTC final, is set to be fit in time for the England Tests.
