ENG v PAK 2021: Stuart Broad feels for Pakistan team analyst after England announces new team for ODIs

England will now face Pakistan in ODI series with Ben Stokes as captain and a new look team.

Ben Stokes will be captaining England in the ODI series vs Pakistan | Getty England pacer Stuart Broad tweeted that he felt for the Pakistan team analyst whose plans for the upcoming ODI series between the two teams went to waste after England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had to announce a revised ODI squad.

This all happened after 7 members- 3 players and 4 support staff- of the England unit which was supposed to play Pakistan in the ODI series from July 8 onwards tested COVID-19 positive and the ECB decided to isolate the whole team as they were considered to be in close contact with the positive members.

Hence the ECB announced a revised squad naming Ben Stokes as the captain and including as many as 9 uncapped players in the squad. Chris Silverwood, who was set to take some time away during the white-ball series, is back as Head Coach.

Broad, who only plays the red-ball cricket for England suggested that the Pakistan team analyst will have a busy few days ahead as nine members of the new squad are uncapped.

Gotta feel for the Pakistan Team Analyst- would have had all the plans sorted! Busy few days ahead!!,” Stuart Broad wrote on Twitter.
