India and New Zealand are clashing in the first semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2023 in Mumbai on November 15. This match is not only watched by millions on TV, but the Wankhede stadium is filled to the brim.
Amongst the thousands of cricket fans in the stadium, there are a few dignitaries as well. The most famous of them being former England football star David Beckham. Beckham is on a short trip to India as the UNICEF ambassador and was seen having a chat with the Indian cricketers including legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and current star of the lineup Virat Kohli.
Along with Tendulkar, who is also a UNICEF South Asia Regional goodwill ambassador, Beckham had another role, delivering the World Cup trophy ahead of the match.
As he was walking out onto the field with Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian team was prepping themselves near the boundary lines. And Virat Kohli being a huge football fan as well, kicked a ball towards the legend.
In response, Beckham played some football with Kohli, before continuing. Later on, Beckham was seen in conversation with Virat Kohli at the boundary line as well.
