India have qualified for the World Cup semi-final without losing a match in the league stage.

The India versus New Zealand clash is going to be a re-match of the 2019 World Cup semi-final, where the Kiwis had defeated the Virat Kohli-led side by 18 runs at Old Trafford.

However, India have been the most dominant side in this World Cup. The Men in Blue qualified for the semis by winning all their league-stage matches.

The Rohit Sharma-led Indian side also broke the losing streak against New Zealand in ICC events since 2003 as they defeated the Kiwis by four wickets in Dharamsala on October 22.

Ahead of the marquee semi-final, members of the Indian cricket fraternity send their best wishes to the Indian team on social media platform X.

Here are the posts:

Notably, India haven’t won an ICC tournament for the last 10 years. After the Champions Trophy triumph in 2013, the team has lost as many as four ICC event finals and bowed out in the semi-finals on numerous occasions.

It remains to be seen whether Rohit Sharma’s men will be able to end the global trophy drought or not.
