Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is currently busy making fun of the Pakistan cricket team, as they are on the verge of being eliminated from the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.
Pakistan's hopes of making it to the semifinals of the ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 suffered a major setback when New Zealand beat Sri Lanka by five wickets in Bengaluru on November 9. With this outcome, the Men in Green are almost out of the semifinal race.
After the match, Sehwag took to X to take a brutal dig at the Pakistan side by saying, “Pakistan Zindabhaag”. Now, the former Indian opener has yet again hit the headlines for his recent savage shot at Pakistan cricket after he was criticized by Pakistani fans for his recent post.
Meanwhile, an Indian fan mentioned that Viru has an average of nearly 91 against Pakistan, as the former batter was targeted by the Pakistanis. Sehwag replied to the fan as he once again took a severe dig at Pakistan's bowling attack.
Sehwag said that after Wasim Akram's retirement, Pakistan’s bowling attack wasn't good enough for him, and he should have averaged at least 200 against India’s arch-rivals.
Virender Sehwag wrote on X: “Nahi yaar, Wasim bhai ke retirement ke baad jaise yeh thhey , 200 ki avg honi chahiye tha inke saath. But jo bhi ho , tab bhi aur ab bhi Inke Mazzey lene mein maza aata hai . (No, man. After Wasim bhai's retirement, the way their bowling attack was, I should have had an average of 200. Anyway, it was fun against them then, and even now).”
