As he enjoyed his special day, Vaughan received a funny birthday wish from his friend and social media foe, India’s Wasim Jaffer.

Vaughan and Jaffer are known to troll each other on X with some of the most hilarious banter. They are known to take digs at one another in good spirits.

This time as well, Wasim Jaffer didn’t disappoint. He shared a photo of a chocolate cake with a screengrab of Vaughan calling England the best white-ball team in the world, which he had posted after England won the T20 World Cup 2022.

CWC 2023: “Some people were concerned about empty seats,” Pathan takes a dig at Vaughan after England’s loss to Sri Lanka

“Happy b'day to the man who loves to eat his own words @MichaelVaughan ???? #INDvsENG #CWC2023,” Jaffer posted. However, Michael Vaughan quoted his post and said that he doesn’t like chocolate cakes.

On the other hand, journalist Vimal Kumar shared a video of Indian fans wishing Michael Vaughan a happy birthday ahead of the India vs. England match in Lucknow in the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023. The fans are seen holding a banner with a message written on it, saying: “Happy Birthday Michael Vaughan. Today the seat are full, but England’s hands will be empty.”

Vaughan reacted to the same as he wrote, “Lovely to see a full house in Lucknow to watch the World champions ..”
