Rahmanullah Gurbaz made a 57-ball 80-run adding 114 runs for opening wicket | GettyEngland and Afghanistan are clashing in the 13th match of the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 tournament. The match is being played at the Arun Jaitley stadium in Delhi on October 15.

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to bowl first on a decent pitch. England came into this match with an unchanged XI. Afghanistan, on the other hand, made one change and Najibullah Zadran made way for Ikram Alikhil.

Afghanistan made a strong start as well, as Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran forged a 114-run stand for the opening wicket. Zadran was a bit cautious and played the anchor role, scoring 28 in 48 balls, while Gurbaz was in fourth gear from the start.

He spared no bowler and hammered 4 sixes and 8 fours in his 57-ball 80-run knock for his Afghanistan.

One of the bowlers who went for runs was Sam Curran. He gave away 26 runs in his two overs and was hit for 3 fours and one six in his 12 balls.

Gurbaz was particularly hostile in the ninth over of the Afghanistan innings against Sam Curran, who was smashed for two fours and a six as the England star conceded 20 runs off his over.

This frustrated Curran so much that he shoved the cameraman away while fielding on the boundary.

The England player turned and shoved the camera away when a cameraman got close to Curran for a close-up view. It also appeared that Curran was telling him to stay away from the field.
