Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq and India’s star batter Virat Kohli’s on-field spat was one of the highlights of the IPL 2023 season.

Following the heated altercation, Naveen took a dig at Kohli with a number of social media posts. In particular, his Instagram story of enjoying mangoes after Virat Kohli’s dismissal in an IPL match went viral on the internet.

Four months have passed by since that incident, but it continues to draw attention on social media. Since India’s next World Cup 2023 fixture is against Afghanistan, the rivalry between Naveen and Kohli has become the talk of the town all over again.

On the eve of the much-anticipated clash, India’s leading grocery delivery brand Swiggy Instamart trolled Naveen-ul-Haq with a savage post on X (formerly Twitter).

The post read: “Sorry Naveen from Delhi but mangoes are out of stock unka season khatam hogaya, cheeku bhejde?”, referring to Kohli’s nickname Cheeku.

The India versus Afghanistan match will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi on Wednesday (October 10).

While Afghanistan are coming into this match with a six-wicket defeat against Bangladesh, India opened their World Cup campaign with a six-wicket victory over Australia at Chepauk a couple of days back.
