The Asia Cup 2022 is now just couple of days away as the tournament kick-starts on Saturday (August 27) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The much-awaited India vs Pakistan clash on Sunday is already creating a lot of hype and excitement among fans and experts.

All the teams have arrived in the country with India's players arriving in batches on Tuesday. Majority of the squad hit the nets at the ICC Academy ground in Dubai on Wednesday evening, while few players who arrived from Harare after the ODI series took a day's rest.

As always, former captain Virat Kohli was in focus as he is back in action after being rested for the white-ball tours of West Indies and Zimbabwe. The batting maestro's poor form has been much talked about in recent times and he would be keen to use the Asia Cup to answer his critics with the bat.

Once a master of tackling all kinds of spinners, especially in the shorter formats, Kohli has tended to struggle to take them on consistently in the past few years. The 33-year-old has seemingly taken note of his dropping strike-rate against spin, as he immediately took on the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja at the nets.
