The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Wednesday (August 24) announced India ‘A’ squad for the four-day matches against New Zealand ‘A’.
New Zealand ‘A’ will tour India for three four-day matches and as many one-day games next month.
Bengaluru and Hubli will host the red-ball matches while the white-ball games will be played in Chennai. The squad for the white-ball fixtures will be announced later.
Priyank Panchal has been named captain for the four-day matches and the squad also features well-known names such as Kuldeep Yadav, KS Bharat, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sarfaraz Khan, Rahul Chahar, Prasidh Krishna, Umran Malik, among others.
