Imam and Abrar ran for the catch but no one really attempted it.

Babar Azam wasn't happy with the fielding effort | ScreengrabOver the years, Pakistani cricketers have produced some comical fielding moments, especially when it comes to taking catches in the outfield.

On Wednesday (December 28), there was another addition to this hilarious list as Imam-Ul-Haq and Abrar Ahmed made a mess of a catching opportunity to dismiss Kiwi batter Tom Blundell during the opening Test in Karachi.

Both the players ran for the catch but no one really attempted it, with Imam catching hold of the ball after it bounced.

The missed chance left the Pakistan skipper Babar Azam frustrated as he stared in anger at the two fielders responsible for giving Blundell a reprieve.

This drop catch once again put Pakistan's poor fielding standards on the spotlight. In fact, netizens were reminded of an epic moment when Shoaib Malik and Saeed Ajmal were involved in a similar episode during an ODI match against the West Indies.
