Debutant Abrar Ahmed starred with the ball as Pakistan dominated England in the first innings of the ongoing second Test against England at Multan Cricket Stadium.
On Day 1 of the Test match, Abrar ran through the scary English batting line-up, which took the Pakistani attack to the cleaners in the opening Test at Rawalpindi.
The leg-spinner dismissed England’s first seven batters and reduced them to 231/7 at one stage. He accounted for the wickets of Zak Crawley (19), Ben Duckett (63), Ollie Pope (60), Joe Root (8), Harry Brook (9), Ben Stokes (30), and Will Jacks (31).
Thanks to his remarkable bowling figures of 7/114 in 22 overs, Pakistan bundled out the visitors for 281 in their first innings.
Another leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood, who made his Test debut in the series opener at Rawalpindi, bagged the remaining three England wickets in Multan.
