Asked to bat first, the visitors bundled out the hosts for a below-par 222 on the back of Shaheen Afridi’s four-wicket haul (4-58) and a couple of scalps from Hasan Ali (2-23) and Yasir Shah (2-66).

Apart from his bowling, Hasan Ali also caught everyone’s attention with his hilarious on-field antics. The right-arm pacer was captured on camera dancing near the boundary line, which left teammate Haris Rauf amused. The commentator was also in splits watching Hasan’s dance routine.

“Hasan Ali … well this is all part of a routine to get a little bit loose. It’s different these days. These guys… but nonetheless enjoying himself Hasan Ali,” Danny Morrison, who was on-air, said.

At the close of play on Day 1, the tourist were at 24/2 with Azhar Ali (3*) and skipper Babar Azam (1*) unbeaten in the middle, trailing Sri Lanka by 198 runs.

Prabath Jayasuriya (1-2) and Kasun Rajitha (1-11) were among the wickets for the home team.
