Pakistan skipper Babar Azam picked up his first wicket in international cricket during the second Test match against Bangladesh. Interestingly, he had not rolled his arms in international cricket before this Test match.
Babar bowled an over for the first time in Bangladesh's first innings, but he couldn't pick up a wicket. He got success in the second innings and dismissed Mehidy Hasan, who had built a partnership with Shakib Al Hasan to save the Test match.
Bangladesh had to bat consecutive times after Pakistan enforced the follow-on in a rain-affected match. The hosts were bundled out on a score of 87 runs in reply to Pakistan's score of 300/4 (declared) in the first innings, which included Babar's score of 76 runs.
Pakistan later bowled out Bangladesh on 205 in the second innings and won the match by an innings and 8 runs. Mominul Haque and co needed to survive the last day to save the Test match but they couldn't after Sajid Khan picked up four wickets in the second innings.
