WTC 2021 Final: Dinesh Karthik shares positive weather update for the reserve day

Cricketer-turned-commentator Dinesh Karthik has shared positive news with cricket fans from Southampton. The reserve day of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) is expected to go ahead without delay or rain interruptions.

Karthik posted the weather update from the Ageas Bowl and it looked like the best day of the match in terms of weather. The sky looked clear in the picture and the sun was out which means fans may get to the best experience of the WTC final till now.

"We are clear for the FINAL Day! This has been the best weather so far I've been here. Final assignment for Weatherman DK #WTCFinal #WTC21final," he tweeted.

Karthik, who is part of the commentary panel for the inaugural WTC final, has been sharing regular weather updates from the ground since the first day. Knowing how passionate Indian cricket fans are about the game, he used to share the weather update in the morning as the Hilton hotel is inside the cricket stadium.

Apart from his social media posts, fans also loved Karthik's commentary. Some of the fans also carried a poster appreciating his commentary, which was spotted on the fifth day of the Test match by broadcasters.
