ICC shared a photo of Devon Conway in a funny pose and asked fans for captions | GettyFormer South Africa spinner Paul Adams was well known for his unique style of bowling, and his action was often described as a ‘frog in a blender'. However, recently he showed his funny side as well when ICC asked for captions for a fun Devon Conway photo.

In the ongoing ICC World Test Championships (WTC 2021 Final), New Zealand is in a pretty good position as they have scored 101/2 in their first innings, after bowling out India for 217 runs. After the first day of the highly anticipated match was washed out, rain has been a persistent interrupter in this match.

The overcast conditions helped Kiwi bowlers, as Kyle Jamieson picked 5/31, while Ajinkya Rahane made 49 and Virat Kohli made 44 runs for India.

For New Zealand, Devon Conway continued his tremendous form scoring 54 runs before falling to Ishant Sharma, while his opening partner Tom Latham was dismissed by R Ashwin for 30 runs after the duo had added 70 runs for the first wicket.

Meanwhile, ICC decided to keep the fans engaged on social media and posted a funny photo of Devon Conway falling over after getting hit by a Jasprit Bumrah ball on the hips. They asked fans to caption the photo and perhaps the best answer came from Paul Adams.

Conway’s pose reminded many of Adams’ bowling action and the former Proteas player quoted the tweet saying, “Looks like I forgot to take the pads off.”

Though there is a reserve day to make up for the lost time in the ongoing WTC 2021 Final, the constant rain and bad light interruptions have soured the excitement and interest in what should’ve been an amazing Test match between the top two Test teams today.
