New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson was at his best against India in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final at the Ageas Bowl. He was the pick of the bowlers with a five-wicket haul in the first innings.

But Jamieson had no idea his performance would lead to abuses on social media instead of appreciation. The lanky fast bowler bagged 5/31 in 22 overs as India got bowled out for 217 runs.

The 26-year-old had dismissed India captain Virat Kohli early on Day 3 and his Instagram was flooded with abuses by the trolls. Social media users, including Indian cricket team fans, were not happy with the incident and called out the trolls for targeting the Kiwi pacer.

Kohli was dismissed on 44 in the 68th over of India's innings. Jamieson got him out with LBW and he later went on to remove Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, and Jaspirt Bumrah, having dismissed Rohit Sharma on Day 2.

In reply, New Zealand got off to a solid start and they managed 101/2 runs at stumps of Day 3. Skipper Kane Williamson (12*) and Ross Taylor (0*) were in the middle.
