The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand kicked off from Day 2 as the first day was washed off due to rain. BCCI shared the first glimpse of the pitch at the Ageas Bowl on Saturday (June 19).
Posting the picture on Twitter, BCCI asked fans to share their thoughts on the pitch. "The pitch has been under covers and this is what it looks like now. Thoughts?", wrote BCCI.
Fans reacted to the pitch and some of them felt India should make a few changes in their playing eleven. Notably, India has already announced their playing eleven for the WTC final and they are going ahead with two spinners and three fast bowlers in the bowling unit.
It was Kane Williamson who won the toss and they decided to bowl first in the WTC final. Kohli confirmed Team India are not making any changes to their eleven for the final.
