WTC 2021 Final: WATCH - "They've got some weapons in their attack," Trent Boult on India's bowling line-up

New Zealand pacer Trent Boult is aware of Team India's bowling strength and he knows they can adapt to any conditions very well. Boult, who is one of the key pacers for the Kiwis in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final, is excited to play on the big occasion.

"Firstly, they (Team India) are very talented cricketers, they tour very well," Boult said. "They adopt to the conditions, and they've got some weapons in their attack and got all the skills there."

India and New Zealand will face each other in the WTC final on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. He is looking forward to the exciting contest and added that they are not taking India lightly for the final.

"Equally as excited as everyone else and yes, obviously eager to play a big part in the big stage that's coming over in the next couple of days. It's been a while," he said.

Boult further added, "I've never played here (The Ageas Bowl) before but I am sure we will research it well and come up with a good game-plan for this very strong Indian side.

"By all means, we won't be taking them lightly. It's going to be a great match-up."

New Zealand recently defeated hosts England in a 2-match Test series and won by 1-0. Boult was part of the second Test which the visitors won and sealed the series.
