With the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship (WTC) between India and New Zealand just around the corner, all the experts and pundits are keeping themselves busy by predicting their XIs for the showpiece event.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag talked about the bowling combination Team India should go in with for the final in his recent interaction.
“I don't how the wicket would look like on June 18th but one thing I have always believed is that you need to play to your strengths. If India can play with five specialist bowlers that will be a great thing because I still believe that two spinners will come into effect on the fourth and fifth day,” Sehwag told PTI.
“Two spinners will be good for India because both Ashwin and Jadeja are capable all-rounders. That also adds depth to your batting. You don't need a sixth batsman with both of them around,” the right-hand explosive batsman added.

New Zealand has a great bowling attack with bowlers like Trent Boult, Neil Wagner, and Tim Southee, who can swing the ball both ways, it will be a tough challenge for the Indian batsmen to face them in English conditions.
“No doubt Trent Boult-Tim Southee combination will pose a lot of challenge for Indians. They can move the ball both ways and are brilliant while bowling in partnerships also.”
“Boult vs Rohit Sharma will be a contest that I would be looking forward to. If Rohit gets set and see off Boult's opening spell, it will be a treat to watch,” the 42-year-old signed off.
The WTC final between Team India and New Zealand will be played at Southampton in front of 4000 spectators which is scheduled to begin from June 18.
