India's wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant has earned faith in the Test cricketer with his superb batting display in the last few months. Pant, who played a big role in India's Test series win in Australia, got praised by former India wicket-keeper Kiran More.
More called Pant a vital player for Team India going into the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand and Test series against England. While speaking to rediff.com, he said the youngster is currently on top of his game and can change the game alone.
"I feel he (Rishabh Pant) will once again be the key player for us in the World Test Championship final and also in the England series. He is on top of his game at the moment and I think he feels confident enough to change the course of the game with the bat from any position," said More.

From being criticized for his glovework to getting picked as the first preference wicket-keeper, Pant has come a long way. He has now gained experience and improved his batting and wicket-keeping since his Test debut for India in 2018, which was against England.
"I believe he has settled down nicely now. This is his second tour to England, in fact, the third tour if you consider the World Cup in 2019. He knows the conditions well, he has scored a century in a Test match. With the gloves too, I believe he will do a good job," More said.
Pant has played 20 Test matches for India and scored 1358 runs with an average of 45.26 and a strike rate of 71.47. He has smashed three Test hundreds, including one in England, and 6 half-centuries in 33 innings.
