With the final of inaugural World Test Championship (WTC) between India and New Zealand getting closer, all the cricket experts are suggesting their playing XIs and are predicting top performers from both teams.
Former England skipper Michael Vaughan is one of them as the Englishman picked Rishabh Pant, BJ Watling and Kyle Jamieson as the three players who he thinks will shine at the biggest stage.
The right-hand batsman first picked New Zealand’s Kyle Jamieson who has had a great start in the longest format as well as in IPL 14 where he played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) before the tournament got suspended owing to COVID-19.

Vaughan then went for the wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant who is batting on another level since the Australia tour where he helped India win their second consecutive Test series on Australian soil, that too at their fortress The Gabba.
The 46-year-old then went with another wicket-keeper batsman in BJ Watling who has represented New Zealand in 73 Tests with 3,773 runs to his name at a decent average of 38.11.
“First is Kyle Jamieson as he’s had a magnificent start to his Test career. Next is Rishabh Pant as he’s the star of the world game. He has been incredible over the last few months, especially against Australia and England. Next, I’ll go with BJ Watling in his swansong as he’s been a fantastic servant for New Zealand cricket,” Vaughan said.
