Pakistan's batting coach Younis Khan wants the team's best batsman, Babar Azam, to take the responsibility and score big hundreds if he can during the Test series against England, starting August 5 in Manchester. 

Younis urged Babar to push his limits for the team's cause in difficult conditions, where the likes of Stuart Broad, James Anderson, Jofra Archer & co will really test the visitors' resolve with the bat.

Babar, who had an outstanding tour of Australia and also an excellent home-coming against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh last winter, will be hoping to continue the good work in the traditional whites. 

"I have tried to work with everyone in the side including Babar Azam. These players are our future. I have no doubts about the skills of Babar," Younis told reporters via videoconference as per Cricket Pakistan.

"I want him to keep performing better and better. He should strive for a 150 when he makes a 100 and then go on to even 200," he added on the 25-year-old Babar, who averages 45.12 after 26 Tests for 1,850 runs, including five hundreds and 13 fifties. 

Younis has also been working with the Pakistani tailenders, considering each will matter in a series featuring two vulnerable batting line-ups. 

"We are trying to make Mohammad Abbas (right-arm pacer) the leader of the tailenders. You need to fight till the last wicket in a Test match," said the former captain. 

The second and third Tests will be played at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton from August 13-17 and August 21-25, respectively. 

The two teams will then move back to Manchester for the three-match T20I series, including games on August 28th, 30th and September 1st. 

Only two venues are being used during this English summer as they both offer on-sight hotel facilities, which come to good use for creation of a bio-secure bubble amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
