England's wicketkeeper Jos Buttler was caught on stump mic using cuss words against South Africa's Vernon Philander who was batting on the last day of the second Test. The match was getting intense as England were trying hard to get the remaining wickets, while the home side took the match towards a draw.

The incident happened when English captain Joe Root threw a ball towards keeper's end and Vernon was in way of it. He moved on the last moment which might have made it difficult for Buttler to collect the ball.

A visibly agitated Buttler lost his temper and called Philander a 'f*cking kn**head'. The South Africa lower-order batsman was fighting with his 51-ball 8 runs stand on the pitch. Jos was also making an effort to get under his skin.

Buttler also heard telling Philander it was hard for the ball to 'get past that f***ing gut'. 

Dale Steyn was surprised to hear the cuss words. He reacted to it on Twitter and wrote, "Well, that was loud and clear." It would have been fun if Steyn was part of this intensified Test series. 

Root has said there is nothing to worry about and everything is good between them. "I don't think it was anything serious," he said. "It was just two guys playing hard Test cricket. Emotions were running quite high and I don't think anyone overstepped the mark. You want a bit of spice on the TV anyway, don't you?"
