Australian speedster Pat Cummins, on Sunday, November 24, described the pink-ball Test as “the whole different” format of the Test cricket – traditionally played with red-ball ahead of his team’s second and final Test – Day-Night Test in Adelaide against Pakistan on November 29.

At The Gabba, Australia defeated Pakistan by an innings and five runs in the first Test match to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match Test series and now they will head to Adelaide for the second and final Test which will be a day-night Test.

The Aussies have won all the five day-night matches that they have played so far since the inception pink-ball Test concept while three of those pink-ball victories came in Adelaide – the venue hosts a Day-Night Test against Pakistan on Saturday, November 29, 2019.

However, Australia has a great pink-ball Test record in Adelaide, but still, Cummins feels the Pakistan game will be a different one here, expecting more sideways movement under lights than Brisbane.

As per cricket.com.au, Cummins said after Brisbane Test victory: “Pink ball is going to be a whole different almost format to what it was out here.”

He continued, “It felt like once the ball got soft there wasn't a lot of sideways movement and they played really nicely, especially when we gave them some width.”

Cummins signed off by saying, “Hopefully Adelaide, our record there is really good, we know the conditions well, it'll be a bit of a different game, I think.”
